Focus Areas

Let's start where it hurts

Three places this practice tends to make the biggest difference. Hover or tap any area to see how the work takes shape.

01

Strategic Market Positioning

For startups, growth-stage companies, and innovation teams ready to turn ambition into traction

Go-To-Market Roadmapping

Most companies don't fail for lack of a great product — they fail because their commercial architecture doesn't match the market they're entering. Here we focus on building a robust GTM motion: customer segmentation, value proposition, pricing logic, and a sequenced execution plan that holds up beyond the launch window. For more technical teams this includes the translation layer between what the technology does and why the market should care.

Operational Alignment

Scaling fast exposes the gaps between how your organization is designed and how it actually needs to work. This focus area diagnoses where strategy, incentives, and execution are misaligned — then builds (or updates) the operating architecture and cross-functional program structure to close those gaps before they become real revenue problems.

02

Branding & Communications

For founders and executives building the kind of visibility that opens doors and earns trust

Thought Leadership & Content Strategy

In crowded markets, brand and credibility are commercial assets. This engagement defines you (or your company's) unique perspective, positions your voice as a recognized authority in your space, and then executes on it — through articles, white papers, newsletters, LinkedIn content, and targeted placement across the right publications and platforms. The strategy and the content are designed together so that every piece compounds rather than scatters.

Investor Communication & Fundraising Strategy

In a funding environment where early-stage capital is increasingly selective, how you tell your story is as important as the story itself. Customers buy your product. Investors buy your conviction — in the market, the timing, and the team. This requires a different kind of storytelling, with different vocabulary, different psychological triggers, and much higher stakes per conversation. Here we sharpen your investor narrative, pitch materials, and data-backed messaging for that specific audience.

03

AI & Technical Strategy

For organizations navigating what AI and emerging technology actually mean for their business model

AI Planning & Implementation

Most AI initiatives stall not because the technology doesn't work, but because organizations adopt it without a clear thesis on where it creates leverage. This engagement defines where AI meaningfully changes your economics — and where it doesn't — then sequences the build, buy, and partner decisions into an implementation roadmap your team can actually execute.

Emergent Tech Scouting

From synthetic biology to quantum computing, the companies that win aren't necessarily the ones who move first — they're the ones who move right. And with new tech coming out every week, it's hard to keep up on your own. This engagement identifies high-impact technologies relevant to your sector, evaluates their commercial applicability, and designs pilot strategies to test and integrate them without overcommitting resources.

Work Together

Engagement models

Every engagement begins with a complimentary discovery call. From there, we'll shape the work to match where you are and what the moment demands.

01

Strategic Advisory

Monthly retainer · 3-month minimum

Ongoing thought partnership for founders and senior leaders navigating growth, hiring, fundraising, or repositioning.

  • Bi-weekly working sessions
  • Async access between meetings
  • Board-ready narratives & memos

02

Fractional Leadership

Engagements of 3–9 months

Embedded operator support when you need senior bench strength without a full-time hire—often in strategy, ops, or GTM.

  • 1–3 days per week, on-team
  • Owns a function or initiative end-to-end
  • Coaches your next internal leader

03

Focused Sprints

4–8 week sprint · fixed scope

A defined, time-boxed engagement to crack a specific question: a GTM plan, an AI integration roadmap, a reorganization, a launch.

  • Discovery, synthesis, and recommendations
  • Working artifacts your team can run with
  • Optional implementation oversight

Not sure which fits?

Most engagements start with a 20-minute call. We'll talk through what's in front of you and shape the right scope from there.

ABOUT

The credentials,
for the curious

Rachael is a commercialization strategist and Senior Partner at Major Futures Advisory with over a decade of experience helping founders, operators, and leadership teams across various sectors. Her work sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, and the structural reality of building something that lasts, focusing on how product decisions, market positioning, and executional systems align (or fail to.)

At Amazon, Rachael spent four years embedded in some of the world's most granular consumer data, managing portfolios generating over $250MM in annual revenue and driving operational improvements across entire categories. At Fred Hutch Cancer Research Center, she worked on longitudinal oncology and smoking cessation studies, interviewing participants about their behavioral patterns and compiling findings for foreign health ministries. She has led consulting engagements for Eli Lilly, IBM, and Hispano Suiza working cross-functionally on challenges including behavioral change management inside legacy enterprise organizations. Each environment taught the same lesson from a different angle: growth stalls not from lack of brilliance, but from structural gaps between how organizations are designed and how people actually behave and communicate.

Rachael earned her MBA with a concentration in Strategy from IE Business School in Madrid, Spain and a Bachelor's in International Business from North Seattle College. She has also since supplemented her formal training with coursework in data science for precision medicine, neuromarketing, and consumer behavior. That combination of business rigor and behavioral science is the throughline of her success for every institution she's worked in.

+A PHILOSOPHY FOR THE FUTURE

"Intuition is the highest form of intelligence, transcending in its scope and rapidity over even the most astute intellect."— Sylvia Clare

AI can surface insights in seconds. It can draft plans, analyze data, and generate endless options.

Yes, the incredible lift that each new AI feature or capability brings to productivity is genuinely exciting: it helps us move faster, synthesize deeper, and show up to every engagement better prepared than any advisor could have a decade ago. However, the real edge isn't just the tools, but rather the ability to interpret what they surface through the lens of how people actually behave — as consumers, as decision-makers, as organizations under pressure.

That understanding, built across years of working inside some of the world's most data-rich environments and alongside founders, enterprise leaders, and scientists is what turns AI-generated insight into strategy that holds up when it meets the real world. The discernment to catch what AI misses, pressure-test what it surfaces, and make the call when the stakes are high is still ultimately, and irreducibly, human.
